Founded in 1996 by Mr. N. Ponnusamy and Mr. N. Ganesan as Sun Moon Hosiery Mills, the company began its journey as a small-scale manufacturer of knitted garments. With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, the company earned a reputation for reliability in the textile industry.

In 2008, the business was rebranded as NSK Exports, reflecting its focus on international markets and long-term growth.

Since 2018, Mr. N. Ganesan, one of the original founders, has taken sole ownership and continues to serve as the Managing Director. Under his leadership, NSK Exports has experienced remarkable growth—expanding from just 20 sewing machines in its early days to over 300 sewing machines today, supported by a skilled workforce and modern infrastructure.
